What This Notice Is
This page is a placeholder, not a privacy policy. It is published ahead of online applications so the application form has something honest to point at. While online applications are closed, the form on theJoin the Club page sends nothing and stores nothing: what you type is checked in your own browser and then discarded. The working notice — the one an applicant can rely on — is published when online applications open.
Details the Form Asks For
When online applications open, the form asks for:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Country of residency
- Phone number
- Email address
- A link to your main cricket statistics profile (optional)
- Links to your cricket videos (optional)
- A photograph (optional; uploads open with online applications)
That is the whole list — the form asks for nothing else. An exact date of birth is asked for, rather than an age band, because the club develops young players as well as playing adult cricket. Photo upload stays switched off until applications open, so no picture can be sent through the form today.
What Is Not Settled Yet
This notice does not state a retention period, a lawful basis, a data-protection contact or a complaints route. None of those is decided yet, and none is invented here. They are the club's to set, and they are written out in full in the working notice that ships with online applications. Until then, read this page as a plain description of what the form asks for, and nothing more.
